Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited sterile processing or surgical technology course; online programs without hands-on instruction not accepted.
• In lieu of the course, 5 years' SPD or OR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a close working relationship between Sterile Processing and the Operating Room; anticipate needs and bridge gaps to ensure surgeon satisfaction, case completion, interdepartmental communication, and patient quality care and safety using problem-solving and critical thinking.
