Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op Holding/Operating Room to deliver high-quality perioperative care and ensure a safe, patient-centered environment. The RN will work closely with the surgical team to plan and execute care before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, collaboration with interdisciplinary staff, and providing comprehensive pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care with discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Two years RN experience in Critical Care (preferred)
• Completion of OR internship program (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Observe the surgery and surgical team and maintain a safe environment
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate needs of the surgical team
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions
• Other duties as assigned
