Job summary

Bon Secours in Greenville is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced setting. The role requires coordinating with the surgical team and delivering comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to patients.

Applicants should have an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS or PALS certifications. CNOR and SGNA are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS or PALS (preferred at hire) with required renewal.
• CNOR Certification (preferred, not required).
• SGNA certification (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team and maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinate with the team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
