Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) at Harbour View Medical Center. The RN will deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases, collaborate with the OR team, and support patients through their surgical journey. Requirements include an accredited nursing degree and RN licensure.

ACLS/PALS are preferred; CNOR is a plus. Two years of OR or critical care experience is ideal, with a strong emphasis on patient safety

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in the state.
• Graduate from an accredited Associate or Bachelors in Nursing.
• Current CPR/BLS; ACLS or PALS preferred at hire.
• CNOR certification preferred, not required.
• Two years RN experience in a Critical Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and assist to ensure a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the surgical team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
