Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the operating room on a full-time day shift. The role requires circulating and scrubbing experience with (4) 10-hour shifts available and prior OR experience preferred.

Ideal candidates hold a Specialized Diploma in nursing, strong patient- and family-centered care skills, and PA RN licensure. The position emphasizes teamwork, learning, and ongoing professional development within Jefferson Health.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient-and-family-centered care and cultural sensitivity.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to convey and document care plans and educate patients and families.
• Active RN license required in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff, upholding Jefferson's values.
• Educates patients and families on learning priorities and care plans.
• Uses health IT to communicate, manage knowledge, and monitor outcomes.
• Works within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
