Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the operating room at Abington Memorial Hospital. This full-time day shift role supports circulating and scrubbing duties with experience preferred. Prior OR experience and strong patient education skills are essential.

You will work in a collaborative, inclusive environment with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient safety, contributing to high-quality perioperative care and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with PA RN license.
• Strong patient-family centered care knowledge and communication.
• Ability to work within inter-professional teams and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and scrubbing support in OR to ensure safe patient care.
• Collaborate with patients and families to educate and plan care.
• Utilize health IT to document care, manage outcomes and improve safety.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement committees and initiatives.
• Demonstrate professional growth and precept junior staff when appropriate.
• Follow nursing protocols and discharge planning processes.
