Job summary

Jefferson Health in Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role supports circulating and scrubbing, with four 10-hour daytime shifts available. Prior OR experience is necessary and additional training may be provided.

Active PA RN license and a specialized nursing diploma are required; BSN preferred. Expect engagement in safety, patient education, discharge planning, and teamwork across the perioperative team.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of Patient-and Family-Centered Practice and cultural awareness.
• Effective Communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.
• BLS certification required; RN license PA.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families to provide compassionate and coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge needs.
• Document patient information accurately and use IT to monitor outcomes.
• Participate in safety, quality, and improvement initiatives.
