Job summary

Jefferson Health in Abington Memorial Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for full-time Day shift in the operating room. Prior OR experience required; circulating and scrubbing experience preferred.

You will work (4) 10-hour shifts; participate in evidence-based practice, patient education, and safety initiatives. You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma in nursing required.
• Active RN license in PA.
• BSN preferred or in-progress within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff per Jefferson values.
• Educates patients and caregivers on learning priorities and care plans.
• Uses IT to communicate, monitor outcomes and improve care quality.
• Works with inter-professional teams and supports shared decision-making.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement activities and committees.
