Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time day shift position requires prior OR experience in circulating and scrubbing roles.

Four 10-hour shifts are available, with a strong emphasis on patient- and family-centered care. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license in Pennsylvania, specialized nursing education, and proven abilities in clinical communication, patient assessment, and perioperative education.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Bachelor BSN strongly preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families to provide respectful, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge needs.
• Use health IT to document and communicate care, monitor outcomes and drive quality improvements.
• Collaborate in inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
