Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Abington Memorial Hospital. This full-time day shift role requires prior OR experience, circulating and scrubbing, and a strong focus on patient-centered care and safety.

The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and participate in quality and safety initiatives while advancing professional growth within a respected health system.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and collaboration with patients and families.
• Cultural awareness and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication for transmitting information and partnering with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment, care plans, and nursing diagnoses.
• Familiarity with discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Understanding of health information documentation and medical records.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA.
• RN license in state of practice (PA).
