Job Summary

Contributes to the success of Surgical Procedures by pulling the data from the OR Scheduling System. This is in order to plan, manage and coordinate all non -labor components for procedural cases scheduled to occur in the Main OR, Berrie Same Day Surgery, Cluster 4 Ortho/Neuro, GI Endoscopy, Angio/IR, and Labor & Delivery. This includes not only coordinating supplies, trays and case carts from SPD, but ordering specialty items for the case as determined by the Surgeon. Ensures anything needed in the PACU area as well. Makes arrangements for Specialized Equipment and Vendor preparation of Unique Instrument Trays. The coordination of disposable supplies, equipment and case carts lends to the successful outcomes of on- time surgeries and expedited room turnover.

Job Essentials

Experience in an acute care or sub-acute care area providing and monitering supply chain needs. Attention to detail, ability to work and communicate well with other. Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Education Requirements

• Associates Degree with 1-2 years specific OR Procedure/OR Supply experience or
• High School Diploma with 3-5 years specific OR Procedure/ OR Supply experience.
