Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory management, equipment and supply control, and quality assurance processes
• Some education or training as a health care worker in a surgical environment
• Ability to oversee daily staff schedules in addition to training, workflow, and anesthesia supplies/inventory in ORs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and respond proactively to patient care needs
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients, medical staff, and multidisciplinary teams

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician required
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a leadership role required
• Knowledge of operating room procedures, sterile technique, standard precautions and anesthesia care required
• Knowledge of inventory management, equipment and supply control, and quality assurance processes required
• Some education or training as a health care worker in a surgical environment required
• Ability to oversee daily staff schedules in addition to training, workflow, and Anesthesia supplies/inventory in the operating rooms required
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, responding proactively to patient care needs without specific instructions required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with patients, medical staff, and multidisciplinary team members

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in a healthcare, science, or related field preferred

Certification

• XL Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) required
