Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ seeks an OR Procedural Materials Coordinator to support surgical services by pulling data from the OR Scheduling System and coordinating non-labor components for procedures across Main OR, Berrie Same Day Surgery, Cluster 4 Ortho/Neuro, GI Endoscopy, Angio/IR, and Labor & Delivery.

The role arranges supplies, trays, case carts from SPD, orders specialty items as directed by surgeons, and ensures necessary items are available in the PACU.

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute care or sub-acute care area providing and monitoring supply chain needs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate well with others.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the success of Surgical Procedures by pulling data from the OR Scheduling System to plan, manage and coordinate all non-labor components for procedural cases across multiple OR locations.
• Coordinate supplies, trays and case carts from SPD; order specialty items as determined by the Surgeon; ensure PACU items are arranged.
• Arrange Specialized Equipment and Vendor preparation of Unique Instrument Trays; coordinate disposable supplies and equipment to support on-time surgeries and fast room turnover.
