Job summary

Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced OR nurse supervisor to support the Surgery Center operations. The role involves onboarding, scheduling and supervising staff to maintain safe patient care in the operating rooms and sterile processing areas.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of OR nursing experience, active TN RN license or multi-state licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification; PALS preferred and must be obtained within one year if not currently held.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited post-secondary nursing program.
• 3 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current Tennessee RN license or a Multi-state licensure.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred; must be obtained within 1 year if not current.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Surgery Center Clinical Manager in operations, onboarding, hiring, supervision and scheduling.
• Monitors performance/attendance and ensures policy compliance across supervised positions.
• Participates in employee relations and corrective actions or termination as needed.
• Coordinates the Surgical Suite including OR and Sterile Processing Departments (staffing, supplies, instrumentation, reviews).
• Acts as a resource to all staff levels for patient care.
• Assesses staffing needs based on workload and staff competency; re-assigns and adjusts staffing accordingly.
• Assists with QA, infection control and regulatory programs as requested by quality and management teams.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Works cooperatively with others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
