University Clinical Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Perioperative (OR) Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring safe, efficient surgical flow and adherence to the facility’s mission.

This full-time position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and BLS/BCLS with ACLS and PALS within 90 days. CNOR is preferred, and OR circulator experience is encouraged to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice required.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment; must have documentation.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; documentation required.
• PALS certification within 90 days of employment (if requested by supervisor).
• CNOR certification recommended.

Responsabilités

• Advocate for the patient before, during, and after surgery.
• Monitor and record patient vitals pre-operation.
• Prepare surgical tools and materials for the surgical team.
• Document all aspects of the operation, including staff, tools, anesthetic amount, and duration.
• Assist the surgical team and escort patient to recovery post-operation.
• Maintain OR cleanliness and account for all used tools.
