Job summary

Columbus Regional Healthcare System is seeking a full-time OR RN to provide pre-operative nursing care and to serve as circulating and scrub nurse across multiple surgical specialties in a hospital setting.

The role requires current NC or compact RN license and BCLS certification, with preference for BSN/MSN and 1 year of OR experience; new grads may be considered. Shift is 6:30am-7:00pm, M-F, with 3 days per week coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current and valid NC or compact state license to practice professional nursing.
• BCLS certified.
• Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care pre-operatively and acts as circulating nurse and scrub nurse.
• Performs set-up and maintenance of surgical areas, equipment and instruments across endoscopy, cystology, orthopedics, vascular and general surgery.
• Provides relief coverage in PACU.
