Columbus Regional Healthcare System is seeking a full-time OR RN to provide pre-operative nursing care and to serve as circulating and scrub nurse across multiple surgical specialties in a hospital setting.

The role requires current NC or compact RN license and BCLS certification, with preference for BSN/MSN and 1 year of OR experience; new grads may be considered. Shift is 6:30am-7:00pm, M-F, with 3 days per week coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current and valid NC or compact state license to practice professional nursing.
• BCLS certified.
• Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients.

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Operating Room

Shift: 6:30am-7:00pm M-F

6:30a-7:00pm 3 days/week

Job Description:

Provides professional nursing care pre-operatively. Acts as circulating nurse and scrub nurse. Performs specified duties for the set-up and maintenance of surgical areas, equipment and instruments. Performs functions in endoscopy, cystology, orthopedics, vascular, and general surgical cases. Provides relief coverage in PACU.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.


• Current and valid NC or compact state license to practice professional nursing.


• BCLS certified.

Preferred: BSN; MSN; One year of previous experience as an RN; new graduates will be considered.

Experience:

One year of previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care unit preferred but not required. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of the job in 6 months.
