Job summary

Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking an OR Circulator RN for a full-time day shift (6:30am–7:00pm) with OR experience. The RN will provide patient-centered care, assist the surgical team, monitor vital signs, and ensure sterile technique and safety throughout perioperative care.

Responsibilities include coordination with physicians and staff, medication administration, infection control, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and nursing process.
• Assists physicians during procedures within the scope of documented competency and skill level.
• Implements and adheres to infection control protocols to prevent healthcare‑associated infections.
• Monitors and operates medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, monitors, ventilators) as needed for patient care and safety.
• Promotes patient safety by adhering to National Patient Safety Goals and maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
• Documents patient care and education thoroughly and promptly in the medical record.
