Mcpherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse - Circulator to join the OR team. The Circulating RN collaborates with the surgeon, CRNA, and OR staff to ensure a safe surgical environment for patients undergoing operations.

Qualifications

• RN education: Associate degree or higher; bachelor’s preferred.
• Kansas RN license required.
• ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow medication protocols and verify five rights of med administration.
• Communicate patient status to surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff.
• Document findings and implement care plans for continuity of care.
• Monitor patient condition and vital signs, adjust care as needed.
• Coordinate perioperative patient care with surgical team.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety in the OR.
• Takes call on rotation for non-scheduled OR hours.
• Assist perioperative staff including surgeons and anesthesia providers.
