Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main Operating Room on a full-time day shift. The role involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with two weekend shifts and one variable day to discuss during interview.

The OR RN will circulate, coordinate with surgeons and teams, check-in patients, and stay with them from pre-op through PACU, ensuring safe, high-quality intra-operative care.

Qualifications

• RN with 2–3 years Surgical Services experience.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CNOR/CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as Circulating Nurse in the OR and assist physicians and teams.
• Check-in and manage patient assignments; ensure patient safety.
• Remain with patient during procedure and transfer to PACU; advocate for patient care.
