Job summary

Grandview Orthopedic Surgery Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative and OR-based care. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

This role covers OR, PACU, and specialty orthopedic services with strong emphasis on patient education, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols. Candidate must hold an RN license and have associate degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing and active RN license.
• 0-2 years of experience in acute care or related clinical rotations.
• Experience across OR, PACU, ICU settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures and support care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge.
