Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an OR Circulator RN-CVOR. Position features 6:30a-3:00p shifts with call, in the CVOR unit. Experience preferred; student clinical rotations acceptable for consideration.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Documents patient care and education thoroughly and promptly in the medical record.
• Engages in professional development to maintain clinical competency and regulatory knowledge.
