Job summary

LensCrafters in Boca Raton seeks an Optometric Technician to support doctors and staff by delivering the LensCrafters Experience and ensuring high-quality patient care.

You will greet patients, assist with eye examinations, input data into the CIAO system, review prescriptions, and help maintain records in HIPAA-compliant fashion.

Strong customer service, communication, organization and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced retail-healthcare setting are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and maintain a professional image.
• Answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients for exams.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with attention to detail and HIPAA compliance.
• Demonstrate patience and courtesy to patients, including difficult cases.
• Input patient data and insurance information into the CIAO system accurately.
• Maintain inventory and organize exam rooms and contact lens area.
• Support retail as capacity and patient demand allows.
