Eyes on You Optometry is seeking an Optical Consultant to support optometrists and ensure excellent patient care. You will assist with exams, preliminary testing, patient education, and documented communication in the EHR.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, scheduling referrals when needed, and maintaining a welcoming front-desk presence in a busy on-site practice in the San Francisco area. Excellent communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• Strong attention to the details and ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively and professionally collaborate with co-workers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists with patient care and education.
• Perform preliminary evaluations and use ophthalmic equipment.
• Schedule referrals and manage paperwork.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Handle appointment confirmations and communication with patients.
