Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, evaluate visual needs, and educate patients on eyewear options and eye health in a full-time on-site role in the United States.

You will build long-term patient loyalty, conduct interviews to assess health and ocular history, and provide pre- and postoperative care as needed, while collaborating with staff and opticians to recommend the best lenses and treatments.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision testing.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Perform patient interviews to assess health and ocular history.
• Advise patients on remediation options for refractive error and ocular disease.
• Promote eye health and educate patients on lens options and care.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care and refer to specialists as needed.
• Evaluate for systemic diseases and coordinate care with other providers.
• Collaborate with opticians and sales staff for lens recommendations.
