Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye exams, assess ocular history, and support practice growth by educating patients about eyecare and eyewear choices.

You will establish long-term patient relationships, diagnose refractive errors, prescribe glasses and contacts, and participate in pre- and postoperative care while promoting eye health and using the latest lens technology. This on-site Minnesota role emphasizes patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and patient interviews to assess health and ocular history.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems and eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Recommend treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care after eye surgery.
• Evaluate patients for diseases and refer to other providers when needed.
• Promote eye health and advise on contact lens care and regular exams.
