Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and manage ocular health. You will build lasting patient relationships, educate patients on eyecare options, and collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality vision care.

The role requires completing pre- and postoperative assessments and prescribing eyewear, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate. You will promote eye health and refer patients to specialists when necessary.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must be licensed to practice in Minnesota or state boards passed.
• Experience with diagnosing ocular conditions and refractive errors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and assess ocular health.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education.
• Interview patients to assess health history and visual needs.
• Advise on remediation options for refractive errors and ocular disease.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide postoperative care after eye surgery and follow-up.
• Promote eye health and refer to other providers when needed.
• Coordinate with opticians and sales staff on lens options.
