Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group in Portland, Oregon is seeking a dedicated optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and provide patient education to support eye health and practice growth.

You will conduct interviews, assess ocular history, diagnose vision problems, and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications while promoting the latest lens technologies and patient loyalty. Must have a Doctorate of Optometry and passed state boards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Experience conducting comprehensive eye exams and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and analyze results.
• Perform verbal interviews to assess ocular history and patient needs.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Recommend treatments such as vision therapy or rehabilitation.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care when applicable.
