Acuity Eyecare Group is hiring a licensed Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and develop long-term patient relationships. You will assess ocular history, discuss treatment options, and prescribe eyewear and medications as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision tests and analyze results.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Conduct verbal interviews to assess health, ocular history and patient needs.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Suggest treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care around eye surgeries.
• Educate patients on eye health, lens options, and care.
• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers when needed.
• Communicate treatment recommendations clearly to staff.
