MyEyeDr in Oklahoma is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist Doctors of Optometry with patient prep, preliminary testing, and measurements. You will learn and use pretest equipment to perform vision screenings and support the patient experience throughout the visit.

Weekend and some evening shifts are required. Training will be provided; prior healthcare/optical background is preferred but not required, aiming to develop your career in eye care.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Detail oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products and services.
• Collaborative team player focused on the best patient experience.
• Healthcare/optical background preferred but not required; training provided.

Mansioni

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for pre-exam prep.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures they will encounter.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings before the doctor visit.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
