Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients, performing preliminary testing, and taking measurements for the exam.

Training will be provided, even if you have no prior optical experience, and you will learn to use pretest equipment and conduct basic screenings. You will help ensure a smooth patient flow, comfort during procedures, and collaborate with the team to deliver a best-in-class experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history and prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth patient flow to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures during their visit.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
