MyEyeDr. in New York is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with preliminary testing and patient preparation. No prior optical experience is required; training and tools will be provided to learn how we deliver a best-in-class eye care experience.

This role involves working with the clinical team, handling patient flow, and ensuring comfort during procedures. Weekend/evening shifts may be required, and we offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening and testing.
• Detail-oriented with ability to document and follow procedures accurately.
• Willingness to learn industry basics; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Consult with patients, document medical history, and prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth patient flow to the Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patient comfort with procedures during appointments.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training and other preliminary testing.
