MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors by preparing patients for visits, performing preliminary tests, and assisting during appointments. Training will be provided for those without optical experience. Some weekend and evening shifts are required.

The role emphasizes accuracy in documenting medical history, patient comfort, and efficient clinic flow to deliver a best-in-class vision care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; basic math understanding.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products and services.
• Prior healthcare/optical background preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Consult with patients, document medical history, and prep for optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures experienced during appointments.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings before doctor visit.
• Conduct contact lens training and other preliminary testing as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide seamless patient experience.
