Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, conducting preliminary testing, and learning pretest equipment. Training will be provided, with some weekend and evening shifts required.

Candidates should be personable, patient, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment. High school diploma or GED is required; healthcare/optical background is a plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
