Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Glendale, AZ is seeking an Optometric Technician to support our doctors and deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience. This role uses optical equipment to run initial tests and prepare patients for exams with an Optometrist.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a medical office or customer-facing role, familiarity with HIPAA, and strong computer skills. Travel to other locations and weekend shifts may be required, with a commitment to patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a customer/patient facing role or equivalent.
• Favorable background check result as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering clinical support.
• Comply with company policies including HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment as directed (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow testing scripts and maintain equipment cleanliness and calibration.
• Assist with general office duties and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment.
