Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC is seeking an Optometric Technician to support optometrists in a fast-paced clinical setting and help provide a world-class Total Patient Experience. The role involves performing initial testing with optical equipment and assisting in exams.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of customer-facing medical office experience, proficiency with standard office software, HIPAA compliance, and a strong team mindset. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Favorable result on background check as required by state
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
• Practice urgency at all times placing value on a patient’s time, as well as the doctor’s time and schedule
• Operate medical testing equipment as directed (lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field devices) and follow scripts for testing
• Maintain equipment hygiene and assist in general office duties as assigned
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment and dependability in schedule requirements
