Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for exams, conducting preliminary testing, and learning pretest equipment. Training will be provided and some evenings/weekends may be required.

You will help maintain patient flow, ensure comfort during procedures, and collaborate with the team to deliver an exceptional patient experience in a high-growth vision care environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Willingness to learn about the industry and practices.
• Collaborative team player committed to patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history and prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures during visits.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver seamless patient care.
