Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with preliminary testing and measurements. You will learn to use pretest equipment and perform visual screenings, ensuring a smooth patient flow and a best-in-class experience for every patient.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED, be personable and detail oriented, and eager to learn. Training is provided; weekend/evening shifts may be required. MyEyeDr.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Personable, patient, and able to comfort patients during screening.
• Detail oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about industry, product and services; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history, and prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort with procedures during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and perform preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide seamless patient experience.
