Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optometric Technician to support eye care professionals in preparing patients and performing initial testing. You will operate optical equipment and help ensure a world-class Total Patient Experience.

Preferred candidates have 1 year of customer-facing medical office experience and familiarity with ophthalmic procedures. Some travel/office duties may be required, with a focus on patient care and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for exams with an Optometrist.
• Operate optical testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Maintain equipment and clean examination tools.
• Deliver excellent patient experiences and adhere to HIPAA policies.
• Support general office duties as assigned by manager.
