Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the eye care team by performing initial testing and preparing patients for examinations with an Optometrist.

The role focuses on delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience, handling clinical testing with optical equipment, and ensuring patient flow and data accuracy. Previous ophthalmic or medical office experience is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients
• Medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience preferred
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment as part of the exam preparation process
• Assist in maintaining orderly exam and office spaces; support scheduling and clerical tasks
• Provide courteous, professional interactions with all staff and patients
• Occasionally travel to other locations to carry out duties as needed
