Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optometric Technician to assist in delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will perform initial testing to prepare patients for exams, operate lensometers and other diagnostic devices, and support a friendly office environment.

The role emphasizes accurate testing, HIPAA compliance, and patient-centered care in a clinical setting with potential travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a role involving customer/patient interaction or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Comply with HIPAA and all company policies.
• Operate optical testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual fields).
• Follow scripting for testing procedures and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Support general office duties and maintain a patient-focused environment.
