Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support optometrists in delivering a world class Total Patient Experience. You will perform initial testing, operate optical equipment, and help prepare patients for exams with an optometrist.

The role requires familiarity with testing devices, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior ophthalmic experience is preferred, and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year interacting with customers/patients or equivalent experience.
• Prior medical/ophthalmic office experience preferred.
• Must pass background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and provide medical support to patients.
• Comply with HIPAA and all company policies and procedures.
• Operate testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor, OCT, etc.).
• Prepare patients for exams and assist during testing.
• Maintain equipment and assist with general office duties.
• Interact courteously with staff and patients at all times.
