Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optometric Technician to support the Total Patient Experience in a clinic setting. You will assist with initial testing, operate lensometers and imaging devices, and help prepare patients for exams under the supervision of an optometrist.

The role requires patient-focused teamwork, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle a varied schedule, including weekends. Benefits are provided with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Medical/ophthalmic office experience preferred.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies
• Operate exam testing equipment (manual lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT)
• Clean all examination equipment and perform general office duties as assigned
• Contribute to a positive, patient-focused team and maintain a flexible schedule
