Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to collaborate with doctors in a fast-paced retail eye-care setting. You will assist with pre-testing, data collection, and training on contact lens insertion/removal, while supporting eye exam flow and patient experience.

The role involves ensuring accurate records, preparing reports for medical professionals, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant privacy practices. A strong patient-first approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between doctor and patient to build rapport.
• Perform preliminary data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, pupil testing).
• Support in-person and video eye exams when available.
• Train new wearers on insertion/removal of contact lenses and teach teammates.
• Assist in appointment flow, confirmations, outreach, and follow-up.
