Responsibilities

• Make introductions and establish rapport with patients.
• Perform pre-exam testing and various ocular assessments.
• Assist with fitting of contact lenses and patient instruction.
• Complete prior-authorizations and prescription refills as authorized.
• Educate patients on medications and pre/post-operative care.
• Maintain inventory and order diagnostic supplies.
• Open/close exam lanes and ensure equipment is clean and ready.
• Perform manual refractions and adhere to safety procedures.
