Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support optometrists, conduct pre-testing procedures, and assist with diagnostic testing to deliver high-quality patient care. You will handle scheduling, maintain patient records in EHR, and assist with CPT/billing tasks while upholding HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations of patients prior to exam by the Optometrist.
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing and post-exam tasks.
• Manage doctor’s appointment schedule for efficient patient flow.
• Document medical findings in EHR and support clerical duties.
