Job summary

AEG Vision is hiring an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists and patient care teams. You will conduct pre-testing, assist with diagnostic testing, and help manage appointment schedules to ensure high-quality, efficient patient experiences.

The role requires strong knowledge of eye care terminology, experience with patient evaluations, and accuracy in medical documentation within EHR systems. On-site work and full-time hours are offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye care.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations of patients prior to exam by the Optometrist.
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing and post-exam tasks.
• Manage doctor appointment scheduling to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain patient records in EHR and assist with related documentation.
