AEG is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists in delivering high-quality patient care. You will conduct pre-testing, assist with specialty diagnostic tests, and help manage the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficient patient flow.

The role requires experience evaluating patients for eye exams, familiarity with eye-treatment terminology, and relevant certifications. On-site, full-time position with benefits and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-exam duties and assist with specialty diagnostics.
• Maintain patient records in EHR in compliance with HIPAA.
• Schedule appointments and manage recall communications to maximize schedule utilization.
• Assist with post-exam tasks and patient education.
• May act as a scribe or perform refractions as needed.
