Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Concord, NC is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the doctor during exams and perform initial testing with optical equipment. This role focuses on delivering a world class Total Patient Experience for every patient.

Ideal candidates have prior medical office or ophthalmic experience, strong computer skills, and a team-oriented approach. The position may require weekend hours and adherence to HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent experience.
• Favorable background check as required by state.
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Comply with company policies including HIPAA.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow testing scripts for equipment (photos, visual fields, visual activity).
• Assist with general office duties and keep equipment clean.
