EyeCare Partners is hiring an Optometric Technician to support doctors in delivering a world class Total Patient Experience. You will handle preliminary testing and operate equipment to prepare patients for exams, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant practices.

Candidates should have strong customer service, a high school diploma, and willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical setting with possible weekend hours. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.
• Background check clearance as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and provide great medical support.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies and procedures.
• Respect patient and provider time; maintain schedule efficiency.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment and assist with exams.
• Follow testing scripts for photos and visual fields.
• Clean examination equipment including tonometer tips.
• Interact courteously with all team members at all times.
• Perform general office duties and cleaning as directed.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented, patient-focused environment.
• Adhere to varying work hours, including weekends when needed.
